Facebook is a Web site of social networks. It was created originally for students of Harvard, but it has been opened to any person who has an account of electronic mail. The users can participate in one or more networks, in relation to their academic situation, their place of work or geographic region.


The site stays in English, in spite of an increasing number of users and centers outside the United States.


In January of 2008 it has the greater amount of users registered in comparison with other oriented sites to students of superior level, having more than 23 million members anywhere in the world (including networks of not students).


Facebook is one of the most visited sites in Internet. According to the site Alexa is between the ten first in November of 2007.

AutoSlideshow 0.3.2 for Facebook

With one single click AutoSlideshow generates an image slideshow within Firefox. The slideshow contains all images on the current page or images linked to from the current page.
This is mainly useful for pages with no possibility for image browsing, but you can uses it for viewing slideshows of images on your harddisk as well.
Beside the slideshow it is possible to browse the images one by one using back and forward buttons, view an overview page of all detected images and save all images on disk.

Be aware that images and linked images are only detected if they are in pure html. So the extension is mainly thought to be used for simple pages.

Facebook Photo Album Downloader 0.2

This is a nice utility that allows facebook users to easily download whole albums off Facebook.
The album Photos selected are downloaded to the default firefox download location.
To download, right click on a link to a facebook photo album and select "Download Photo Album"
